Billy Stockwell is a professional Digital Matte Painter and Concept Artist based in London, with 10 years of experience collaborating with 2D and 3D departments to create photo-realistic environments and concept designs for television commercials, series, and feature films.
In the past three years, Billy has worked as a Lead Artist on projects such as Bridgerton (Season 2) and Luther: The Fallen Sun. More recently, he has taken on the role of Supervising Lead on productions like Fallout and Constellation, gaining valuable experience across a wide range of projects, environments, and artistic styles.
A graduate of the University for the Creative Arts (UCA) with a BA in Illustration, Billy’s passion lies in both the creation and art direction of complex visual projects. He is also committed to mentoring and supporting fellow artists in navigating the challenges of this rewarding industry.
